The Lastarria neighborhood is a district of Santiago, the capital of Chile, located in the northeastern corner of the commune of Santiago, between Plaza Italia and Cerro Santa Lucia, and the Alameda and Parque Forestal.

The neighborhood is an active cultural, gastronomic and tourist center, and since 1997 it is a Typical Zone. In 2018 it was considered one of the "coolest neighbourhoods in the world" by the travel section of the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia.

The bohemian neighbourhood of Lastarria stands out because of the hill of the Cerro Santa Lucía, with the 19th century Hidalgo Castle, the hiking trails and the panoramic view of the city.

The area's tree-lined streets are filled with boutique hotels, trendy bars serving regional wines and artisan cocktails, and modern restaurants offering fusion cuisine and innovative dishes from the Chilean kitchen. Street vendors sell local crafts and souvenirs.
